"Some years ago I was invited to Prairie Meadows Race Track in Altoona, a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. To my pleasant surprise, it was a tremendous success, so much so that I made two more trips there. They even hung eight or nine of my large murals throughout the track. I shall always have fond memories of my Iowa experience."
